Beervana ("the App") is operated by Joe Masilotti. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your choices.
Data we collect
Account information
When you sign in with Apple, we receive your name and email address (or a private relay address if you choose to hide your email). We use this to identify your account.
Usage data
We store the breweries you stamp and bookmark. This data is tied to your account so you can access it across sessions.
Push notification tokens
If you opt in to push notifications, we store your device token to send you notifications. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.
Data we do not collect
- We do not collect your location.
- We do not use analytics or tracking SDKs.
- We do not sell, share, or rent your data to third parties.
Data storage
Your data is stored on servers hosted by Fly.io in the United States. We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) to protect your data.
Third-party services
- Apple Sign-In: authentication is handled by Apple. See Apple's privacy policy.
- Brewery data: initial brewery information comes from Open Brewery DB (open source, MIT license).
Data retention and deletion
Your data is retained as long as your account exists. To request deletion of your account and all associated data, email [email protected].
Children's privacy
The App is not directed at children under 21. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 21.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the App or by email.
